Dog Being Turned Over to the Care of Friends of Akitas Trust (UK) Please note that if your dog originally came to you from another rescue organisation, you should contact them first. There are many genuine reasons why people can no longer care for their Akita, and you will be treated with sensitivity and understanding. Wherever possible, we prefer the Akita to remain in his or her home to reduce anxiety and undue stress related to the situation. If you need to re-home your Akita due to behavioural issues or breed characteristics, we can give you advice and suggestions that may lead to you being able to keep your dog. Please fill in this form truthfully and with as much detail as possible, this will help us to place your Akita with the right family. Do not hesitate to contact us if you and your Akita need help In consideration of the fact that the Friends of Akitas Trust (UK) may be keeping this Akita for an extended period of time before a suitable home materialises, and will incur health, nutrition and insurance expenses, combined with administrative fees, we ask that you consider a donation towards FOA Trust (UK) to help meet these costs. Please note, all veterinary, Kennel Club Documents and Microchip information will need to be relinquished to the Trust. Kennel Club paperwork will not be passed to the new owner. |
