There are many genuine reasons why people can no longer care for their Akita, and you will be treated with sensitivity and understanding. Wherever possible, we prefer the Akita to remain in his or her home to reduce anxiety and undue stress related to the situation.

If you need to re-home your Akita due to behavioural issues or breed characteristics, we can give you advice and suggestions that may lead to you being able to keep your dog.

Please note, all veterinary, Kennel Club Documents and Microchip information will need to be relinquished to the Trust. Kennel Club paperwork will not be passed to the new owner.
