Kuma

Let us introduce you to our handsome boy Kuma. Kuma is 3 years old and arrived into our care as an unclaimed stray from the dog pound.

Kuma is a truly wonderful boy and we just know that he hasn’t had a nice life so far, he cowers when you go near his head as if he is waiting for something to happen to him. Whatever has happened to him is in the past now and we are looking for lovely understanding adopters to give him the life he truly deserves.

Although nervous, Kuma is very good with people, as soon as he knows that you mean him no harm he is your best friend. We are ideally looking for an adult only home or a home with older teenage children who are large breed aware. Kuma could potentially live with a female canine companion if all goes well with introductions. He is not cat tested.

Kuma does have odd looking back legs. Our vets have performed x-rays and he has a birth defect where his joints hyper-extend, he is happy and copes well so no further action is needed. He enjoys his walks and his legs does not hinder this, he is lovely on the lead.

Kuma has a lovely nature, he loves playing with his plush toys and showing his happiness with an Akita zoomie, he also enjoys being brushed.
