Ben

Let us introduce you to this handsome chap. He is gentle Ben and he is approximately 5 years of age. Ben came to us as an urgent, unclaimed stray with his microchip unregistered so his age is a guesstimate alongside our vets.

Ben is a larger male Akita but despite his size he walks nicely on the lead and has lovely manners, someone has cared for him and put the time in to train him during his life.

Ben could potentially live with a nice natured, female companion if they got along well at introductions. As he has come to us as a stray with no history we are looking for an adult only home or a home where any children are over the age of 12 years. He is not cat tested and as he is in kennels this is not something we can reliably test.

Ben doesn’t realise his size and will seek laps to sit on, he loves human interaction and affection. He really is so gentle and loving. He adores plush toys and carries one around in his mouth and has shown no signs of guarding.
