Covin

4 year old Covin is a lovable lad who is curious, confident and alert. He met our assessor with tail wags, happy to make a new friend.

Covin is a much loved member of his family but sadly due to a change in circumstance the difficult decision has been made to find him another wonderful home. He is currently being left for extended periods and Covin is craving the human interaction and walks that he has been used to. He is non destructive in the home and can be left alone but a home where his new family are around for most of the day, at least initially would be great for him.

Covin will be a wonderful addition to a family who have the time to spend with him, he does walk well on the lead but can pull when he finds something exciting that needs to be investigated. He would do well in a family that are experienced with the Akita breed and can live with older, breed aware children. He also has the potential to live with a similar sized female canine companion if introductions are successful.
