Mabel

This beautiful girl is Mabel a 6 year old female Akita who has come into our care through no fault of her own. Although she hasn’t always been treated in the way she deserves you would not guess this as she absolutely loves people and the company that comes with it.

Mabel is being a really good girl at kennels, gentle and kind but she does long for that new home of her very own where she can be loved and join in with the day to day activities of her new family. She walks nicely on the lead after the initial excitement of setting off and enjoys her adventures.

She has been taken part in two of our fundraising walks being walked by volunteers and she has been absolutely amazing, great with everyone she has met. She has been good around the other dogs and therefore we could consider her for a home with a male, neutered companion if introductions are successful. Mabel is not cat tested. She could also live in a family with children over the age of 12 years.
