Mabel *rehomed Feb 2024*

This is our beautiful Mabel, she is 6 years old and she arrived into our care through no fault of her own.  Although she hasn’t always been treated in the way she deserves you would not guess this as she absolutely loves people and the company that comes with it.

After a stay with us in kennels Mabel where she captured many hearts, she has been lucky enough to secure herself a fabulous foster home where she has continues to show herself as the wonderful girl that she is. Mabel was at ease from the moment she arrived at the house and made herself comfortable. She waits patiently for her food and shows no signs of food aggression.

Mabel is a nosey girl and loves a window to observe out of, we do ask for secure fencing and Mabel definitely needs this. She walks well on the lead and she travels well in the car which is great as she really enjoys an adventure. She has attended a few group walks and also helped us out at fundraising events and she has been absolutely brilliant.

Mabel is able to be left for a few hours, she just settles down to relax and wait for her people to arrive home. She has a doggy playmate so could potentially live with a neutered male companion in her new home, she is proud of her toys so this should be managed around other dogs. As we do not have any previous history on Mabel she could live in an adult only home or with children over the age of 12 years.

Mabels foster family have fallen in love with her, it is impossible not to but she does need her own forever sofa. So if this striking girl has caught your eye we would really love to hear from you.
