Phoenix *rehomed April 2023*

Please meet our beautiful girl Phoenix, she is around 6 months of age. She was found and handed into the pound in a dreadful state but she has now risen from the ashes and is looking for her loving forever family.

Phoenix was very underweight when she arrived with us so understandably she wants to eat everything she can get her paws on. Her foster carer has begun crate training with her for when she is left alone and this is recommended in her new home. This will improve with age and her understanding that she won't be starved ever again. She can be left for a few hours if she has been exercised prior, she walks well on the lead.

Phoenix is in a foster home where she has proved herself to be a fabulous girl. She is living with children and can be rehomed into a home with children who are 10 years and over, although she isn't possessive of food she can snatch so children must be large breed aware.

Although Phoenix is fine out on walks with other dogs she would prefer to be the only dog in her household. We can't blame her as she has missed out on so much in her short life and loves all the attention. She does want to chase cats.

She didn't know what toys were but is now learning to play but she has accepted love easily, she is affectionate and loves her belly rubs.

Phoenix is looking for a home where the excellent training she has received in her foster home can be continued. She is just a big puppy who is still learning how the world works but is very responsive and eager to learn.
