Merlin

Merlin

Marvellous Merlin is a gentleman of an Akita who has come to us from the stray dog pound when nobody turned up to claim him. With no microchip we do not have a definite age but our vets have estimated 7 years.

Merlin is smaller in stature but the best things really do come in small packages. Since arriving with us he has shown his gentle and sweet nature, he loves to be around people and receive attention and fuss. He is quite food motivated and takes treats gently with no signs of aggression.

During his dog test Merlin showed no signs of aggression, he just wanted to play and chase. He could therefore live with a female companion pending successful introductions. He is not cat or small animal tested.  As we do not have any previous history on Merlin we are unable to place him in a home with children under the age of 12 years.

We don't know if Merlin is house trained as he came to us as a stray but he does try to be clean in his kennel. He likes to explore and go out on walks, he does need a little lead training as likes to zig zag to follow the exciting scents.

If this little stunner is the one you have been waiting for please contact us at info@friendsofakitas.co.uk for an application form.
