Meet Sumo, an incredibly friendly and handsome boy looking for a new home. Heading straight to our assessor for a fuss, Sumo adores to be cuddled, stroked and rewards this behaviour with plenty of kisses! As a young dog, Sumo can still get quite excitable, and whilst he knows commands, he sometimes needs a little bit of coaxing however we are confident that his training will come on in leaps and bounds in a new home. Well behaved with treats, Sumo is gentle and does not demonstrate any signs of food aggression or guarding. Currently living with an older collie, Sumo has had very little socialisation and consequently is unsure how to behave around them. Our assessor felt that this was less a sign of dog aggression and more of a lack of socialisation, which could be addressed in a new home. Sumo presently lives with small children who he is gentle around, however he would benefit from a home with older children as as such will not be placed in a home with a young family.
