This is Sky, a handsome male looking for a new home after being found as a stray in Humberside. Described by our assessors as "happy and confident", after being in a kennel for seven days, Sky was more than content to be out in the fresh air for a walk! Sky enjoyed being stroked, relaxing into a typical Akita lean; was fine with being brushed and even gave a bit of a wagg in return for some cuddles! Not particularly food motivated, the kennel staff report that Sky has not shown any signs of food possession and is happy for his bowl to be handled. With a basic knowledge of commands and quite strong on the lead, Sky could do with some further training, however he demonstrated a willingness to learn.
