This is Sisco, a handsome boy looking for a new home, as his current owners feel they cannot give him the life he deserves. Friendly and happy to meet people, Sisco was very licky with our assessor, and was content to be stroked all over. Apparently a very quick learner, Sisco has a limited knowledge of commands, something which could be rectified with training in his new home. Fond of being outdoors, Sisco has spent a limited amount of time indoors, something which his new owner must be aware of, and be prepared to make the transition. The FOA Trust (UK) will not re-home any Akita to any owner who wishes to permanently keep a dog outside.

Currently living with a male Rottweiler, Sisco could potentially live with another dog pending successful introductions. Sisco does live with children in his present home, however it appears that he has not spent a great deal of time with them, and as such we feel that Sisco would be better suited to a family with children aged over ten, or without children.
