Neko is a friendly 11 month old male who is looking for a new home.
 
Neko's current owners report that he is good with other dogs of all sizes, which means that he could live with another female dog pending successful introductions.  He is reported to be good with cats although we cannot verify this.
 
He is house trained, but needs help learning to walk properly on a lead, as his current owner hasn't been able to do this and currently he pulls quite a bit.  However, we think that with regular walks and some patience this could be rectified.  He doesn't yet know many commands but we think that he could easily be trained.
 
Although used to being left in the house during the day, Neko can sometimes be destructive, and isn't used to travelling in the car yet.  Like most Akitas he likes playing with plastic bottles!  Neko doesn't present any signs of food guarding.
 
Neko is a big bouncy puppy who needs an experienced large breed owner in a home with no children, in order for him to realise his full potential.
