Meet Kai, a stunning young Akita boy looking for a new home due to his owner's work commitments. Kai was curious to meet our assessor, and instantly sat at her feet. Kai displays a good knowledge of commands, and was happy to sit and lie down upon request. He has not displayed any signs of food aggression or possession, and was content to take treats gently from our assessor. Kai is a vocal boy, his owner reports that he loves to sing along to the ice cream van!

Currently living with five children with ages ranging from eight to eighteen years old, Kai may be placed in a family situation. Kai has not had a great deal of interaction with other dogs, however pending successful introductions he may be able to live with another dog.
