This is Gracie, a beautiful girl looking for a new home after being found as a stray and taken to the pound. Friendly and happy to meet new people, Gracie greeted our assessor with a play bow and lots of wags! Relaxed and happy to be petted all over, Gracie demonstrated typical Akita stubbornness with commands, pretending not to know any until she eventually sat down!

Happy and content with the world, Gracie adored being out and about and exploring on her walk, our assessor found Gracie to be steady on the lead, preferring to walk a little ahead, but never pulling.

As a stray without history, at present we do not have any information about how Gracie may be with other dogs, this will be further explored and information updated as we learn more, similarly we will not place Gracie in a home with children under the age of ten.
