This is Cain, a gorgeous eighteen month old boy described by our assessor as a "big softie". Cain's current owner is struggling to care for him at present, and feels that he deserves a better life elsewhere. Currently living with a cat, Cain has had very little outside socialisation recently, and as such has not met many other dogs. Despite this, when out on a walk with our assessor, Cain met a younger dog and was keen to play, approaching him in a friendly manner. With this in mind, Cain could potentially live with another dog, subject to correct and satisfactory introductions. Similarly, Cain has not met many children in recent months, in the past he has reacted well to them, but with the lack of contact he will not be placed in a home with young children. Cain adores attention and affection, and was keen to meet our assessor - he took her treats in a very gentle manner.

Cain has not had much in the way of training, and as such he does not have a wide knowledge of commands, however our assessor feels that Cain's age, combined with his lovely personality means that if re-homed at this stage in his life, he will respond incredibly well to training and make an even better pet than he already is. Cain's new family will need to dedicate time and patience to further his training, to assist him into the new home. Could Cain be the boy that you are looking for?
