This is Akuma, a striking five year old male looking for a new home due to a change in his owner's circumstances. Initially wary of our assessor, it was clear that Akuma has had little socialisation around people and animals, which has led to him being uncertain in new situations. Despite his initial nervousness, Akuma soon warmed to our assessor when he realised that he could trust her and they soon bonded whilst out walking. Akuma is usually walked at night, and so being out during the day was a treat that he thoroughly enjoyed! Akuma has a basic knowledge of commands, and will happily sit and give his paw for treats.

 Akuma has had very little experience of being around other dogs, however pending successful introductions he may be able to live with a female. Akuma currently lives at the same property as young children, however his owner's have taken the decision to keep him separate from them, he has therefore never had any contact with children. With this in mind, we will not place Akuma in a family with young children.

 Currently being kept in a shed, Akuma is lacking in the day to day socialisation required by a family pet. We feel that with the right owner, who can offer Akuma the environment and attention that he requires, that Akuma will respond well and flourish in his new home. Could you be that right owner?
